She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Locklear (Annie Jane Hammonds) and Curt Locklear. She is survived by: her husband Clement Richard Moore; her children, Karen Lloyd (Elliott), Angelina Horowitz (Max) of Roswell, Jasmine Dial (Tuck) of Fort Mill, SC and Landon Moore (Rachel); her grandchildren, Ariana Lloyd, Aaron Lloyd, Soyer Freeman, Laken Horowitz, Nadia Dial, Zoey Dial, Tucker Dial, Abigail Moore, Leighton Moore and Lucas Moore; and her great grandchildren, Tylon, Brayson, Paisley and Malaya. She is also survived by other relatives, friends, and loving caregivers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prospect Community Church (3929 Missouri Rd, Maxton, NC 28364). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
From the beginning, she embodied resilience and strength—qualities that carried her through a full and meaningful life, and sustained her through an extended illness with Alzheimer's disease.
