He is survived by: his wife Jackie Chavis; his children, Bryan King, Nicoya Chavis and Heather Chavis; his sister Diana Bumgardner; and his grandchildren, Timmothy Schmidt, Nyia Schmidt, Ashley King and Tylan Schmidt. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
