With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Micheal Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, we release David Micheal into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of our lives. And as we carry his memory forward, may we find comfort in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that David Micheal's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Will Fred and Dora B. Locklear. He is survived by : his children, Dora Lynn Locklear of Maxton, NC., Linda Nicole Oxendine of Maxton, NC, Bobbie Jean Demery (James) of Pembroke, NC and Stanley Davis Jr. (Natasha) of Rowland, NC.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (2534 Cabinet Shop Rd, Rowland, NC 28364). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
