Strickland (Lara) of Liberty, SC; his daughters, Sonya Lynn Strickland of Spartanburg, SC and Tonya Lynn Strickland Whitaker (Alan) of Liberty, SC; and his siblings, Stanton "June" Strickland, Jr. of Maxton, NC, Charles Strickland of Maxton, NC, Mitchell Strickland of Maxton, NC, Margaret Simpson of Vass, NC, Delois Clark of Laurinburg, NC, Louise Emanuel of Maxton, NC, Barbara Locklear of Laurinburg, NC, Patricia Strickland of Maxton, NC and Brenda Butler of Maxton, NC. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and many friends.
