With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Minnie Jacobs of Maxton, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Chavis and Verta Chavis; and her sons, Curtis Jacobs, Jr., Perry Jacobs, Ronnie Jacobs and Gerald Wayne Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughter Marie Jacobs; her grandsons, Shawn Jacobs and Timothy O'Ryan Jacobs; her daughter-in-law Whitney Holly Jacobs; her children, Betty Carol Locklear of Maxton, Randy Jacobs of Maxton, Ricky Jacobs of Pembroke and Roy Jacobs; her daughter-in-law Lillian Collins Jacobs of Lumberton; and her caregiver Joyce Lowery. She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
