He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Jones Brooks and Marlee Lowery; and his sisters, Janice Cheek Sparks (Harold) and Susanell Locklear (Joe). He is survived by: his sons, Shane Hunt (Meta), Mark Locklear and Matthew Locklear (Christina); and his siblings, Bruce Brooks and Mary Alice Brooks (Sanford). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
