He is survived by: his wife Valerie Blue Chance; his children, Richard Chance II (Ashley) of Lumberton, Leslie Chance of Raeford, Tyrese Chance of Red Springs, Tressa Pittman (Jarrod) of Rockingham, Mattie Chance of Maxton, Shirley Chance (Randell Hunt) of Maxton, Linda Chance of Maxton and Teresa Chance of Harnett County; and his siblings, Anthony Chance (April) of Monroe and Contina Barrit Chance of Harnett County. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
