He is survived by: his mother Lucille Locklear; his children, Amy Owens (Gary) of Rowland, Carl W. Jones of Red Springs and Robert Locklear of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Garbrena, Gary Owens II, Alana Owens and Isaiah Locklear; his sisters, Patricia Locklear of Maxton, Linda Jacobs of Maxton, Mary Rose Jones (Evangelist Jimmy Jones) of Maxton and Vicky Deese of Maxton; and his sister-in-law Grace Locklear of Lumberton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
