She is survived by: her son Carey Locklear (Suset); her siblings, Garth Jacobs (Cathy), Jimmy Jacobs (Faye), Harold Driggers, Sandra Dial, Renee Jones and Vanessa McLean (Chris); her grandchildren, John Aaron Scott, Chandler D. Locklear and Seth D. Locklear; and her great grandchildren, Jazalynn A. Scott, John Carter Scott and Connor Christopher Scott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home- Red Springs (102 S Vance St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Smithtown Church of God (3832 McGirt Rd, Maxton, NC 28364).
