It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Scott Sr. (Maxton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton Scott and Maggie Scott Peele; his wife Ruby Lee Scott; his children, Gary Scott and Brenda Clark Cox; and his grandchildren, Stacy Scott, Rachel Lee Scott, Kimberly Michelle Dial, Richard Locklear and Katlin Jacobs.

He is survived by: his children, Wade H. Scott, Jr. (Sylvia) of Gibson, Randy Scott (Brenda) of Maxton, Patricia McConnell of Leesburg, FL, Linda Locklear of Maxton and Vicky Archer of Maxton. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
