It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adilee Hutchens Matherly in Mayodan, North Carolina, born in Dobson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Matherly; her parents, Willie Hutchens and Lilly Hutchens; and her sisters, Fern Coe, Rachel Angel, Creola Atkins and Judy Sisk.
She is survived by: her son Burton (Jeanie); her grandsons, Will and Andrew; her son Tommy (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher (Harley).
