She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Gillie and Remona Laris Gillie; her sister-in-law Faye Gillie; her brothers, John Henry Gillie Jr. and Howard Gilley; her grandsons, Joseph Parham and James Keith "Jack" Voyles Jr.; and her sister Angie Dianna Bowman.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Alan Smith; her children, William Bradley Nelson (Tiffany Gentry) of Madison, Candace Voyles (Keith) of Irvington, KY and Amber Parham (Jason) of Greer, SC; and her siblings, Wayne Gillie of Danbury and Connie Smith (Cicero) of Danbury.
