We announce the death of Garnett Sizemore Brendle (Mayodan, North Carolina), who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 76. Garnett will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Hart and Lucy Sizemore Hart; and her siblings, Dale Hart, Dean Hart, Patricia Keen and Linda Hoke.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Marshall (Ricky Neugent); her grandchildren, Brandon Mabe, Joshua Ziglar, Nicholas Ziglar and Tina Broynes (Kevin); her sisters, Bonnie Sparks, Carolyn Hart and Peggy Covington; and her aunt Ada Wells. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
