She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Corum and Louise Corum of Eden, NC.; her husband David Long Sr.; her son Jeff Long; and her sisters, Peggy Foust, Linda Wimberly and Debra Durham.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Darnell, David Long Jr. (Brenda), Chris Long (Tracy), Shane Long (John) and Todd Long (Lynn); and her brothers, Jerry Corum and Gary Corum (Gloria).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Amazing Grace Baptist Church (4530 NC-135, Stoneville, NC 27048). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
