She was predeceased by: her husband George Robert Goad, Jr. (JR); her son Michael Anthony Goad; her parents, Hessie Collins Hall and Hessie Collins Hall; and her siblings, Louise Moore, Nancy Nelson, Mozelle Dunlap, Annie Mae Myers, Melvin Hall and Cecil Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mayodan Methodist Church (501 W Main St, Mayodan, NC 27027). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mayodan Methodist Church, PO Box 219, Mayodan, NC 27027 in Ruby's memory.
