It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Lynn Goins Moretz (Mayodan, North Carolina), who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Daniel Goins; her husband Bobby Moretz; her brother Jimmy Goins; and her grandparents, William Hint Goins, Reesie Goins, George Thomas Dalton and Bessie Dalton.
She is survived by: her mother Thelma Dalton Goins; her siblings, Hilda Goins, Sarah Haley (Lee) and Ronald Goins (Kathy); her siblings' children, Chris Haley (Christina), Timmy Peters, Brian Haley (Becky) and Allyce Goins; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Haley (Selinda), Isac Haley, Kevin Haley (Kyleigh), Lidia Haley, Jacob Haley, Pennelope Haley and Antonio Haley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Victor Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church (2331 Victory Hill Church Rd, Mayodan, NC 27027). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
