It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winford Ray Boles of Mayodan, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Claude Ray Boles; his granddaughter Anna Marie Knight; his great grandchild David Hudson Knight; and his siblings, Cecil Boles, J. T. Boles, Wayne Boles, Wilma Dean Boles, Jacqueline Belton, Shelby Atkins, Barbara Ann Smith and Garnette Holt.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Pulliam Boles; his children, Wendy Boles Knight (Keith) and Michael Winford Boles (Gale); his grandchildren, David Knight (Danielle), Chelsea Knight Smith (Ethan) and Nickolas Boles; his great grandchildren, Eloise Knight and Gwendolyn Smith; his brothers, Frankie Boles and Darrell Boles; and his sister-in-law Lib Boles.
