He was predeceased by: his parents, Al Burch and Espie Burch; and his brother Clayton Burch. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Burch of Maysville; his son Nicholas Wayne Burch of Maysville; his stepson Kurtis Allen Wargo of Jacksonville; his daughter Melissa Dawn Burch of Hubert; his stepdaughter Stacie Dawn Wargo of Jacksonville, Florida; and his sister Teresa White of New Bern. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
