She is survived by: her husband Waymon Erenest Whetsell; her children, Jeff Whetsell (Cindy) of Beulaville, Shelia Evans (Steve) of Maysville and Wayne Whetsell (Shelly) of Montgomery, AL; her granddaughter Katrina; and her great grandchildren, Alexa, Blake, Carter, Izzy, Avah, Jordan and Aubrey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sayland Funeral Home (703 Mattocks Ave, Maysville, NC 28555). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
