She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Jacobs and Pearlie Mae Riggs Jacobs; her husband Leroy Darling; and her siblings, Shirley Darling, Shekarazon Meadows, Buck Jacobs and Gary Jacobs.
She is survived by: her son Leroy Darling, Jr. (Alysa); her grandson Aaron (Grace); and her siblings, Margaret Lewis, Alton Jacobs and Jerry Jacobs. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the White Oak Community Church (6181 New Bern Hwy, Maysville, NC 28555). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
