He is survived by: his children, Akeico Nakai Stanley (Jondale) and Schumata Dakis Brown (Lateashe); his sisters, Vickie Chance (Vaughn), Madyln Johnson (Lloyd) and Donna Brown; and his grandchildren, Dakis Brown, Schumata Brown Jr., Tae'Von Spain, Malik Stanley, Nakai Stanley-Randolph (Justin), Ennocense Jones (Demetrius), Jondale Stanley Jr. and Khalil Stanley. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Myrtle Grove Christian Church (5812 NC-58, Maysville, NC 28555).
