He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kerry A. Jones (Elsie) of San Diego, CA, Jeremy L. Jones (Tritia) of Elizabeth City, NC and Stacy L. Jones of Jacksonville, NC; and his siblings, Louise Chadwick of Stella, NC, Larry Jones (Triplene) of Jacksonville, NC, Diane Simmons of Jacksonville, NC, Adeen Jones of Moorehead City, NC and James Jones of Jacksonville, NC. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saunders Funeral Home (210 Bell Fork Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
