He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Breckon and Eleanor Breckon (Zietlow); his brother Bob Breckon; his siblings-in-law, Linnette Breckon, Roy Stromath and Betty Bergfalk; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Elma Sinclair; and his sister-in-law Beth Dunlop.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Breckon; his children, Melissa (Ron) and Rick; his grandchildren, Tim and Hannah; his siblings, Bill Breckon and Darlene Stromath; and his half-brother Vernon Bergfalk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
