He was predeceased by : his wife Pauline H. Riggs; and his children, Peggy Mitchell and Duane Riggs. He is survived by : his children, Dale Riggs (Susan) of Pollocksville, Pam Meadows (Greg) of Maysville and Loretta Riggs of Pollocksville; his stepdaughter Vicky Johnson (Eric); and his siblings, Ray Riggs of Jacksonville, Russell Riggs of Pollocksville and Marie Barber of Maysville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
