We are sad to announce that, on July 10, 2025, at the age of 71, Sondra Jean Payne Letterle of Maysville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Jeffrey and Matthew Roberson; and her parents, Albert Payne and Iva Jean Cassada Payne. She is survived by: her husband John Letterle; her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Terry Cole, Jr. of Swansboro; her grandchildren, Anna and Trace; her sister Sharon Cox; and her pets, Tucker and Rachel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local charity of choice. In honor of her special love for dachshunds, a contribution to a dachshund rescue organization would be a beautiful tribute.
