She was predeceased by: her father James Arnold Riggs; her stepfather R. L. Williams; and her grandmother Doris Riggs. She is survived by: her husband Brian A. Young; her children, Aloni Hargett of Maysville and Noah Hargett of Morehead City; her mother Diane Williams of Maysville; her aunt Sandra Adams; Jamie Riggs of Chile and Brandon Armstrong of Pamlico.
