He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bynum Ladd, Sr. and Minnie Glass Ladd; his wife Patricia Shumate Ladd; and his siblings, Ralph Ladd, James Ladd, Dvaughn Ladd, Mary Waters, Stella Parks and Blanche Minton.
He is survived by: his children, Tanya Ladd Blankenship (Anthony) of McGrady and William Bryan Ladd of McGrady; his grandchildren, Kaylin Blankenship of McGrady, Jaidyn Blankenship of McGrady and Kaden Blankenship of McGrady; and his sisters, Marie Hendren of North Wilkesboro, Erie Jennings (Lonnie) of North Wilkesboro and Juliann Johnson (Ernest) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rock Springs Baptist Church - McGrady (10313 Sparta Rd, McGrady, NC 28649). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
