He is survived by: his children, Tanya Ladd Blankenship (Anthony) of McGrady and William Bryan Ladd of McGrady; his grandchildren, Kaylin Blankenship of McGrady, Jaidyn Blankenship of McGrady and Kaden Blankenship of McGrady; and his sisters, Marie Hendren of North Wilkesboro, Erie Jennings (Lonnie) of North Wilkesboro and Juliann Johnson (Ernest) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
