He is survived by: his sons, Stacy Burkhart (Tammy) of Trinity and Dean Burkhart (Tina) of High Point; his sister Marie Stewart of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Brandi Burkhart, Schyler Burkhart, Charles Burkhart, Emily Burkhart and Brianna Burkhart; and his great grandchildren, Airiane Burkhart, Jamirah Cooper and Jayce Cooper.
