He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lewis and Lena Houchins Lewis; his wife Doris Branson Lewis; and his siblings, Phillip Lewis and Modena Price.
He is survived by: his children, Marc T. Lewis and Sheri McBride; his grandchildren, Emilee Barr (Michael), Marc T. Lewis II and Kaylee McBride; his stepgranddaughter Katie Gromlovits; and his great grandchildren, Branson Barr, Baker Barr and Briar Barr.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (5205 Frieden Church Rd, McLeansville, NC 27301). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
