He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Gaskins and Lois Turner Gaskins; and his siblings, Patricia Young (Sue) and William Gaskins (Buster). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his sisters, Faith Webb of Chesterfield and Dianne Sellers (Ronnie) of Darlington.
