He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Horace Cornelius; his wife Lynne Elmore Edwards; his children, Meghan Macy Edwards and Stuart Anderson Edwards; and his siblings, Patsy Edwards Bowman (Jimmie), Betty Edwards Miller (Steve) and Kenneth Cornelius Edwards (Kay).
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Galeed Baptist Church (571 Galeed Church Rd, Bladenboro, NC 28320). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Duke Hospice, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Ste 101, Durham, NC 27704, a local hospice of your choosing, or Galeed Baptist Church.
