She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Norris and Luther G. Norris; her former husband Henry Gurney; and her brother Donald Norris. She is survived by: her husband Hank; her children, Jeff Gurney (Louise) of New Bern, Jenny Gurney of Atlanta, GA, Judi (Pastor Willem Oosthuizen) of Durham and Greg Gurney of Wilmington; her siblings, Luther Norris Jr. of Maurertown, VA and Kathy Norris Larson of Portland, OR; and her grandchildren, Jacob Gurney (Beth), Joseph Gurney (Candi), Chasity Bangs (Greg), Ashton Pittman (Stephanie), Ann Ingram (Brent) and Kristie Gurney. She is also survived by six great-granddaughters and eight great grandsons.
