Barbara Carter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Carter of Mebane, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L Carter. She is survived by: her children, Karen Carter, Jan Coe and Anthony Modlin (Renee); her brother Frank Burgess; and her niece Sybil Walker. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, 6 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
