He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ann Shanklin Ward (Johnny); his grandsons, Matthew Hicks (Whitney) and Dylan Hicks (Haley); his great grandchildren, Keegan, Charlee and Casen Hicks; and his nephews, Gary Edwards and Don Carter.
