He is survived by: his wife Judith Lee Banks of Hurdle Mills; his son Garrett Talladega Cartwright Banks (Megan McDaniel Banks) of Winterville; his adoptive son Sean Logan Wilt of Timberlake; and his brothers, Michael Ray Banks of Maysville and Stephen Bruce Banks of Maysville.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane (304 W Center St, Mebane, NC 27302). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (500 E Washington St, Mebane, NC 27302).
