He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Clayton and Allie Blalock Clayton; his siblings, James Clayton and Joyce Lowe; and his children, Sharon Clayton, Brad Clayton (Michelle) and Doug Clayton (Suzie).
He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Davis (Bill) and Jerry Clayton (Cathy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Service (1308 S 3rd St, Mebane, NC 27302). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eastside Baptist Church (333 Supper Club Rd, Mebane, NC 27302).
