He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gullie and Halsie Gullie; and his siblings, Burland, Jimmy Gullie and Betty Jean Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Joel Gullie (Laura) of Creston, NC, Lisa Denton of Hillsborough, NC, Janet Flack of Chapel Hill, NC, Jennifer Rigsbee of Mebane, NC and Sandy Barbee of Wake Forest, NC; his brother George Gullie; his grandchildren, Victoria Rigsbee, J. J. Rigsbee, Shane Gullie, Justin Stewart, Brandon Stewart, Dustin Long and Judson Avery; and his great grandchild Bristol Stewart.
