He is survived by: his father Everett S. Scott (Mary Jane Palaganas) of Cary; his wife Karen Scott; his children, Julia Scott, Kaylen Scott and Matthew Scott; his mother Mary Jane Palaganas of Goldsboro; his brothers, Austin Nathaniel Scott (Gena) of Goldsboro and Lanny Scott of Cary; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Craft, William Doby and Dennis Spear; his nieces and nephews, Lauren Wright, Emily Craft, Ivy Scott, Palmer Scott, Hope Palaganas, Avery Scott, Lanny Scott, Jr. and Ryder Scott; and his aunt Mary Scott.
