He was predeceased by: his parents, John Auman Alvis, Jr. and Bonnie Glasgow Alvis; and his grandparents, John Auman Alvis, Sr., Frances Gallimore Alvis, Raymond Johnson Glasgow and Annie Moore Glasgow.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Ray Alvis; his sons, Tristan and Jonathan; and his brothers, Rodney Alvis (Laura) and Ronnie Alvis (Nancy). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Missions Fund at Crosslink Church-Mebane at 3445 Old Hillsborough Road, Mebane, NC 27302 to further the sharing of the Good News of our Savior Jesus Christ.
