He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Newcomb and Rebecca Newcomb; his wife Barbara Newcomb; and his siblings, Bertha Newcomb, Joyce Holland, Joseph, Lewis, Preston and Charles Newcomb.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lillie Mae Woodard and Rebecca "Becky" Murray.
