He was predeceased by : his parents, Mac Johnson and Teresa "Chi-Chi" Kinney Eilertson; his grandparents, Jack Kinney, Louise Kinney and Dot Rhodes; and his uncle John Kinney.
He is survived by : his wife Sandie Creech Johnson; his son Kellen Johnson (Keri) of Smithfield; his grandson Angus Johnson of Smithfield; his brother Galen Johnson (Katie) of Zebulon; his stepsister Jennifer Eilertson of Colorado; his nieces, Caitlyn Johnson of Knightdale and Erin Johnson of Knightdale; his nephew Keghan Johnson of Knightdale; his aunts and uncles, Betty Kinney, Ann Kinney Joseph (Jim), Phillip Kinney (Melissa), Cassie Kinney Kilpatrick (Kenny) and Lisa Kinney Hoyt (Keais); and his pet Ruger. He is also survived by many cousins, friends that he considered family, and his best buddy.
