We bid farewell to Annette Lee Stokes (Merry Hill, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Annette Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Haste Lee and Ellen Earle Speller Lee; her husband James Merrell Stokes, Jr.; and her brother Ernest Eugene "Bubba" Lee. She is survived by: her close friend Bill Wells; her son James T. "Jamie" Stokes; her brother Vernon Franklin "Frankie" Lee (late Janie) of Merry Hill; her sibling's children, Ellen, Janet, Vickie, Linda, Vernon and Mike; and also, Jennica Wells and Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
