Martha left this world on May 10, 2026 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Frank Taylor and Mattie Elizabeth Hughes Taylor; her husband Verlon Dexter "Tom" White; and her siblings, Carolyn Taylor Copeland, Iry Thelba Taylor, Willie B. Taylor, Teneal Taylor and Fleetwood Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Duncan (Herman) of Seaboard and Lori Thomas (Mike) of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
