He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everette Boykin and Ora Creech Boykin; his siblings, Jessie Driver, Rosa Svoboda, Tressa Lee Crumpler, Rachael O'Neal, William Boykin Jr. and Franklin Boykin; and his wife Betty Faye Godwin Boykin.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Boykin Jernigan, Tim of Middlesex, NC, Randall Scott Boykin and Lisa of Macon, NC; his grandchildren, Michael Jernigan, Vickie Jernigan Vance (Josh), Courtney Boykin Alford (David) and Kaitlyn Boykin (Matthew Gould); his great grandchildren, Micala, Austin, Brayden, Ava-Kate, Hunter, Kinslee, Brewer and Dominick; his great great grandchildren, Maverick and Miguel; his sister-in-law Edith McGraw; and his pet Tigger. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (8490 NC-39, Middlesex, NC 27557). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
