He is survived by : his wife Teresa Johnson Reams; his daughter Robin Elizabeth Reams of Middlesex; his sister Sue; his siblings-in-law, Herman Mitchiner of Clayton, Gail, Ronnie Ezzell of Spring Hope, Pam and Guy Lampe of Smithfield; his niece Alison; his nephew Bill Kilpatrick; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Will and Parker; his nieces and nephews, Mia and Chris Richard; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophia, Levi and Nash; his niece Mollie; his nephew Matt Parrish; his great-niece Dottie; his great-nephew Henry; and his nieces and nephews, Laney Ezzell, RJ Ezzell, Katherine Lampe, Guy Lampe, Jr. and Roger.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520).
