She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Watson, Jr. and Geraldine Webb Watson; and her brother Walter Earl Watson. She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Watson Hill, Brenda Watson Toler and Johnny Mack Watson; her children, Ashley Cook, Jessica Hardin, Victoria Rodriguez, Cody Cook, Eric Hogan and Michaux; and her grandchildren, Alicia Villatoro, Michelle Carter, Dana Cook, Joshua Carter, Lena Chavez, Haylei Carter, Trinity Carter, Adrianna Hardin, Noah Rodriguez and Ilah Hogan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591).
