John Watson Strickland Obituary

We announce the death of John Watson Strickland of Middlesex, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 71. John Watson will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Strickland and Barbara Strickland; and his former wife Rhonda Kay Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Tanya; his son Chad Strickland (Judith); his stepson Jason Lewis (Christina); his grandchildren, Parker, Annie Lewis, Fox Lewis, Kristine, Trevor Yarbrough (Rae) and Clay Strickland; his brothers, Donald Strickland (Kathy) and Roger Strickland (Jennifer); and his daughter Kim (Steve Stancill). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
