He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Brantley and Claudia Virginia Massey Brantley; and his wife Peggy Ann Ferguson Brantley. He is survived by: his significant other Ann Carter; his siblings, Trudy Bizzell (Lee), Penny Bissette (Danny) and Rudy Brantley (Beverly); his nieces and nephews, Daniel Bissette (Karen), Kathy Watson (Kevin), Kesha Howell (Freddy), Luke Watson, Hannah Hayworth (Adam), Sarah Bryant (Nathan) and Joseph Smith; and his friend Nick Brantley.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Union Hope Baptist Church (12712 NC-97, Zebulon, NC 27597).
