She is survived by : her husband Donald Ray Benson; her sons, Donovan Benson (Colette) and Andre Benson (Juliet); her grandchildren, Dasha Benson, Kayleigh Benson, Lyric Medley and Lamon Benson; her great grandchild Dekari Benson; her sisters, Phyllis Adams, Wilhermenia Edwards, Barbara Jones and Eleanor Stafford; her close friend Celina Wilson; and her cousin Debra Sturdivant.
