It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Furr Hartsell of Midland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lee Furr and Dora Francess Furr; her husband Lee Hartsell; her son Alvin Thomas Hartsell; and her sisters, Ruth Brooks of Midland and Hazel Coale of Carolina Beach.

She is survived by : her sons, Jerry Hartsell (Jeanette) of Midland and Jeffrey Hartsell of Mint Hill; her granddaughters, Jennifer Butler (Tom) and Elizabeth Kittleson (Chris); and her great grandchild Brooke Butler.
